Third trailer locks in the November release

The final trailer in the campaign shows Jason and Lucia living — and working — in Vice City.

Trailer three closed the marketing arc that began in December 2023. It leaned on the pair's relationship and on Vice City itself, with a soundtrack choice that sent the internet hunting for the track within hours. Rockstar has been clear that this is the last major trailer before launch, which means marketing now shifts to previews, hands-on impressions and community material.

With the trailer campaign finished, the next information will arrive through previews, hands-on impressions and whatever Rockstar chooses to publish before November. That is a shorter and more controlled phase than a trailer cycle. It is also the period when speculation is most tempting, because the audience is at its hungriest and the publisher has stopped feeding it on a schedule.

In roleplay

The end of the trailer campaign shifts a community's attention from watching to preparing. That is the window for settling the boring questions: who runs the server, how applications work, what happens when someone breaks character and how disputes are handled. After launch, attention arrives all at once, and communities that improvised their structure in the first week usually spend the next month repairing it.
