Roleplay in GTA 6

6rp.online is an independent project about roleplay (RP) in Grand Theft Auto VI. We collect what is actually known about the future of GTA 6 roleplay, explain the terminology and help players find a community.

The short version

• GTA 6 launches on November 19, 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
• There is no PC version at launch.
• FiveM is a PC client, so there will be no GTA 6 RP servers at launch.
• GTA 6 multiplayer has not been announced.

Why we are blunt about timelines

A lot of GTA 6 coverage mixes speculation with facts. We separate three things: official Rockstar statements, conclusions drawn from the studio's own history, and our own forecasts. When something is unknown, we say so.

What you can do today

• Roleplay on GTA V. FiveM servers are running now, and the format GTA 6 will inherit is the one you can learn on tonight — see how to pick a server.
• Learn the vocabulary. Whitelist interviews test terms, not reflexes. The glossary is the highest-value page on this site for a beginner.
• Read the rules once, properly. The rules digest covers what almost every server prohibits and why.
• Join a community early. Projects recruit through Discord long before launch, and early members get the roles everyone else queues for.

Editorial rules we hold ourselves to

1. No invented facts. Everything about GTA 6 comes from official Rockstar and Take-Two material, or is clearly labelled as our own reasoning.
2. No rumours dressed as news. "Leaks" about dates and features are the most common fake in this fandom.
3. Dates are stated with their source. A confirmed date and an expected one are different things, and we write them differently.
4. Corrections are made in place. When something changes, the page changes with it.
