Protagonist
Lucia Caminos
The second playable protagonist. Raised in Liberty City, taught to fight by her father, released from Leonida State Penitentiary and determined to build a better life for her family.
Lucia's story starts after prison. She has a young son and a clear-eyed understanding of what the world expects from someone with her record. Rockstar frames her as the driving force of the pair: where Jason hesitates, Lucia commits. Her arc is about refusing the role she was handed — and about what that costs.
Lucia carries the part of the story Rockstar has been most explicit about: prison, a son, a father who taught her to fight, and a record that closes doors before she reaches them. The official material does not say how her arc resolves or whether the pair stays together to the end. Liberty City belongs to her past; Leonida is her present, and that contrast is the whole character.
In roleplay
Playing Lucia means playing consequence: a character with a record, a child and no interest in being told what she can be. Servers that put weight on background checks, family ties and reputation have an obvious anchor here, because the official description already supplies the pressure. The open question is domestic detail, such as who looks after her son, which is exactly the kind of gap a community fills with its own rules rather than with invented lore.
