Real Dimez sit at the intersection of fame and crime that GTA has always loved: enough money to attract attention, enough history to make them vulnerable. Their plotline runs through Vice City's clubs, studios and the people who manage both.
Real Dimez are the act at the top of the local scene, which in a GTA story usually means exposure: money, attention and people who want a share of both. Their tie to Dre'Quan Priest is confirmed; their members, their history and the direction of their story are not. They matter to the wider picture because Vice City's music industry is a theme Rockstar has attached to the city in every piece of material.
In roleplay
Performers are a gift to a roleplay server: they create events, crowds, rivalries and business for everyone around them, from security to the people selling tickets. Two artists under one manager make a natural faction with internal tension, and none of it requires content the game has not announced, because it is scheduling, negotiation and reputation. A community can decide how fame works and how much of it is worth protecting.
