The duo

Jason and Lucia

The criminal partnership at the centre of GTA 6. Rockstar leans into a Bonnie-and-Clyde dynamic: two people who trust nobody but each other.

Every official trailer builds on the same idea: a couple against the state of Leonida. They rob, they run and they cover for each other, and the story is told from both sides — you can switch between them as the plot moves. The marketing has leaned heavily on the pair as a single unit, which is why we keep a separate page for them: the duo has its own visual identity, separate from the individual character pages.

The duo is the clearest thing Rockstar has shown and also the least detailed. Trailers put them together in Vice City and build the campaign around their trust in each other, yet nothing official explains how switching between two protagonists works outside the story, or what the other one does while a job is running. Treat the pair as the marketing unit it is and leave the mechanics in the unknown column.

In roleplay

A two-player partnership is a natural starting point for organised roleplay: crews built from pairs, shared money, jobs that need a driver and a lookout, and the argument that follows when one of them panics. Servers can write application rules around that shape without inventing anything about the game. The caution is the same one that applies everywhere here: official multiplayer has not been announced, so treat every plan as a design exercise.
