The neon capital of Leonida

Vice City

The heart of the game: a sun-bleached, neon-lit metropolis of beaches, nightlife and money, rebuilt for GTA 6 at a scale the original never had.

Vice City is the state of Leonida's showcase — the skyline in every trailer, the reason the game is bathed in pink and cyan light. Rockstar has rebuilt it from the ground up rather than remastering the 2002 version: districts, highways, canals and a shoreline that stretches far beyond the island of the original. For roleplay this is the centre of everything: the police department, the courts, the clubs and the biggest concentration of players will all be here.

Vice City is the part of Leonida everyone already has an image of, which is also the risk: the 2002 version is a memory, not a reference, and Rockstar rebuilt rather than remastered. What the official material offers is scale and theme rather than detail, with no district list, no street map and no confirmation of what a player can actually do there. Treat the skyline as confirmed and the specifics as unknown.

In roleplay

Vice City is where a server will concentrate: government, police, courts, media, clubs and the largest pool of players competing for the same streets. That density is both the opportunity and the problem, because the city needs rules about who holds power and how far crime may escalate. Plans that assume districts, businesses or mechanics the publisher has not announced should be labelled as plans, not as facts.
